PSWGL District Championship

PSWGL DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

Held in October each year (or other date as decided by Tournament Director)
This is a GolfWA supported event as Perth Suburban is one of the Districts of GolfWA
CLOSED 18-HOLE COMPETITIONS – only financial Associates of PSWGL clubs are eligible to compete in these competitions:
- District Champion (gross winner) and runner-up
- Gross team of four
- Nett team of four
- Stableford team of four
- (Team competitions: Four best scores from a club in each of the competitions. Minimum of three teams in each of the competitions will be required for prizes to be awarded.)

OPEN 18-HOLE COMPETITIONS (all players with a Golf Aust handicap eligible)
- Gross winner and runner-up
- Nett winner and runner-up
- Stableford prizes according to field size

Players may win more than one Gross trophy
In the event of a tie for first place in the District Championship, the result will be decided by a sudden death play-off. All other ties will be decided by a count back.
District Champion will receive the GolfWA trophy on the day of play
Perpetual trophies to be presented at the annual presentation function are:
- District Champion – League Perpetual Trophy
- Winners of Gross team competition – League Perpetual Shield
- Winners of Nett team competition – League Perpetual Shield
- Winners of Stableford team competition – League Perpetual Shield
