PSWGL DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

• Held in October each year (or other date as decided by Tournament Director)
• Closed 18-hole competitions – only financial associates of PSWGL clubs are eligible to compete in these competitions:
  • Best gross – (District Champion) and runner up (handicaps 0-30)
  • Best gross team of four (handicaps 0-30)
  • Best nett team of four (handicaps 0-30)
  • Stableford team of four (handicaps 31-45) (numbers permitting)
  • (Team competitions:  four best scores from a club in each of the competitions. Minimum of three teams in each of the competitions will be required for prizes to be awarded.

• Open 18-hole competitions (all players with a GolfLink handicap eligible)
  • Gross winner and runner-up (handicaps 0-30)
  • Nett winner and runner-up (handicaps 0-30)
  • Stableford winner and runner-up (handicaps 31-45)

• Players may win more than one gross trophy.
• In the event of a tie for first place in the closed gross competition, the result will be decided by a sudden death play-off.  All other ties will be decided by a count back.
• District Champion will receive the GolfWA trophy on the day of play.
• Perpetual trophies to be presented at the annual presentation function are:
  • District Champion (closed gross winner) – League Perpetual Trophy
  • Winners of gross team competition – League Perpetual Shield
  • Winners of nett team competition – League Perpetual Shield
  • Winners of stableford team competition – League Perpetual Shield
