Metropolitan Championships

METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • Held in June (or other date as decided by Tournament Director)
  • 18-hole gross and nett competition (handicaps 0-30)
  • 18-hole stableford competition (handicaps 31-45)
  • Team competition:  Four best scores from a club in each of the competitions.  (Minimum of three teams in each of the competitions will be required for prizes to be awarded.)
  • In the gross competition only, if scores for first place are tied, there will be a sudden death play-off.  All other ties in each competition will be decided by a count back.
  • The perpetual trophies awarded at the annual presentation function are:

    • Stableford winner                                                   League Perpetual Trophy
